Google has indeed provided many developments for the Chrome service, where they have provided improvements and new features that keep Chrome relevant today. Recently, Google introduced a new feature called Custom Tabs, providing access to resize the PiP window to a smaller size.

This feature itself is starting to be tested today for you Android users. Previously, the same feature had been released for Chromebook and Windows versions. You will be able to resize the PiP window according to your preferences, with the UI and UX automatically adjusting.

"You can resize it to be larger (though that’s pointless in this use case) and dock the PiP to the left/right edge of your screen. To return to that page, tap the window and click the fullscreen button. This opens the Chrome Custom Tab again, while you can only have one PiP session open at a time. To remove, swipe to the bottom or tap the corner ‘x’ button. As of today, we’re seeing it on several Android phones running Chrome 122, which is the latest stable version. This is not yet widely rolled out. This will shrink the webpage into a Picture-in-Picture window. That PiP features the site favicon, page name, and domain."

This feature will certainly be very useful when you have many windows open in Chrome, similar to in Windows where you can open more than one window and display both windows with clearly different sizes. This tested feature is not yet widely available for Android users, but it is promised to be expanded to many Android users soon.
