Effective Method to Remove the Cross Mark on Windows 7 Laptop Battery

This method is highly effective and guaranteed to work 100%. I've tried various methods aside from this one, but none were successful.

So, in this instance, I will only provide the method that surely works, which is by installing Service Pack 1. Why install Service Pack 1? Because Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) contains the feature to remove this red cross mark.

Once you've installed Service Pack 1, your Windows will have the feature to remove the red cross mark on the battery. The appearance should be similar to the one below:

To prevent the red cross mark from appearing on the battery icon again, simply uncheck the "Warn me if my battery may need replacement" option, and the red cross mark will disappear automatically.

I guarantee that this method will work 100%. Essentially, you need to install Service Pack 1 first for the feature to remove the red cross mark to appear. Otherwise, this feature won't be available.
